“ Though we live three towns over, Zita's is always worth the drive. Amazing house made ice cream, with creative and traditional flavors. The creative flavors are ALWAYS well mixed, with the chips, caramel, etc evenly mixed throughout the ice cream - which is hard to do. Serving sizes generous. Good selection of toppings. Staff is always friendly and quick, even during the busiest times in the summer. Always a fun vibe in there. I had what is my favorite flavor (91716). Well mixed, great ingredients, and not overly sweet. Ample outdoor seating when it's warm. ”

Food: really enjoyed the apple crumble ice cream I got which appears the be seasonal. A lot of flavor offerings, but watch out as many of them have nuts in them! Service: standard service from an ice cream parlor Ambiance: I really liked the outdoor seating and the small back room is nice, I assume the line is out of the door in the winter because the line was short. ”

“ Zita's is the goat. The best ice cream in northern nj for sure. My family and i have been coming here ever since we moved to chatham township in 2011. We've tried a lot of different spots around since then, but none have ever compared. The ice cream is so creamy and thick but not overwhelming. I always get a waffle cone with sprinkles and two flavors, usually rotate between coffee oreo or smores and a new flavor i want to try. Today it was the cheesecake/strawberry/graham cracker one which was super good. I always think the cone is going to be way too much, but without fail i finish it bc it's just that good! A summer trip home is never complete without a visit here. ”
